I learn swimming at the age of zero.I wail like a cry baby. I crawl like spiderman, i fly like superman, i drive like batman. I live in wonderland. Rugrats is my friend, so is peter pan.
ok here's the story...
a convict called jean valijean is let out on parole. he is serving 19 years in prison for stealing a loaf of bread, his convict number is 24601. he tries to find lodgings for his days of parole, but everyone turns him away because of the "mark of cain": its obvious he's a convict form his papers. finally a priest takes him in, gives him food.. but in a fit of folly, he steals the priest's candlesticks and runs away. but he unfortunately meets two constables who take him back to the priest to accuse him of theft. the priest says the candlesticks are his gift to valijean. valijean is so touched that he decides to turn over a new leaf... "jean valijean is nothing now...a new world must begin"
next act is a few years down the road. valijean is now monsieur fauchelevent, a prosperous factory owner. in his employment is this lady called fantine, who has a child with no father "i dreamed a dream in time gone by, when hope was high and life worth living..but the tigers come at night..with their voices soft as thunder..". she resists the advances of the foreman at the factory. but her secret about the child, cosette, is leaked out one day thru a letter she receives. being angered by her refusal to grant him sexual favours, the foreman sacks her and to support her child and herself, she turns to prostituion.
one day, a customer sees her and wants to buy her services. she refuses and they get into a brawl. he strikes her and as she lies dying, valijean appears and she tells him of how she was turned out and begs him to look after cosette for her. he agrees and she dies. at this moment, a cart falls on a man. it is so heavy that no one can move it and th eman will surely die under the weight. valijean steps to shift it, and this act is seen by inspector javert who has devoted his life to hunting down valijean. valijean's cover is blown and he flees, stopping to look for cosette.
cosette is in the care of the thenardiers , who abuse her no end.. the broom is taller than her, so is the pail... cosette's song "castle on a cloud" is one of the more famous peices. valijean rescues her and takes her with him, fleeing from javert.
next act is when cosette is 18 i believe. she sees marius pontmercy, a student involved in the revolution. they fall in love, but unfortunately cosette and valijean have to flee again bec of javert. at the barricade on the night of the revolution, valijean takes a guard's uniform and geos to rescue marius cos his daughter loves him. at the barricade, javert is trying to impersonate a revolutionary but he is seen thru by this little boy called gavroche. valijean asks to be allowed to deal with him. he takes him to the back of the barricade overlooking the river. javert tinks valijean wants to kill him to silence him,but valijean preaches forgiveness. javert is overcome by guilt "stars..in your multitudes..." and commits suicide.
revolution fails, but marius, cosette n valijean are safe
if im not wrong they get married and valijean dies in the end.
