yes, im back on the subject again!! meeting them never fails to put me back on this subject. shows how shallow my mind truly is despite all the supposedly cheem stuff that i read and do.
let's start with a little background information on this long thesis im going to write.maybe i'll even send it back to rajesh for marking hehe..
The way men perceive women and the way women perceive each other is extmreley different. Which is, in a way, why women constantly wonder what men see in the women they perceive as "sluts" or undesirable and in my case, "food resource wasters" (refer to previous posts, if they exist), while to other men it is extremely obvious. Let us define "slut" and "undesirable" and "food resource waster" from a woman's perspective (okay, my perspective, although i constantly say I think more like a guy than a girl, but this case's unique).
A "slut" as perceived by women is someone who dolls herself up and throws herself at men. "Throwing oneself at men" is a very generic term; anything may be perceived by other women as throwing themselves at men, particularly if previous grudges exist. "Undesirable" women are those who are not exceptionally pretty, nor exceptionally smart. They're not exceptionally anything, just another ordinary woman like any other woman. "Food resource wasters" on the other hand, are worse than ordinary women. They are unable to do things themselves, especially and not limited to only masculine things. They cannot make decisions, even small ones, cannot cook, clean, wake up in the morning without a morning call, cannot read the time (since they are consistently late), cannot read a map (since they are always lost), whine at everything and expect men to pick things up for them, metaphorically. These women consume food resources, however, they do not do anything to contribute to the society in return for the food consumed. Thus, their label as food resource wasters.
However, these food resource wasters are higher up in the hierachy of "women to hate" than sluts because there is the category of women men want to marry, and the category of women who men want to have a fling with. Since there are limited numbers of men in the world, the natural darwinian instinct of women would be to dislike or even hate the women who are getting all the men, or their attention as this results in a smaller chance of them being able to procreate. Furthermore in today's society where ego, confidence and self-respect play a large role in determining a woman's success in life, food resource wasters are increasingly disliked.
Traditionally, men are known to like women because of their outer appearance, same as any other living species on this earth. However, this is not the case for food resource wasters, and sluts who may or may not be beautiful in the eyes of women and men. In that case, it must be that something internal is attracting men. This brings us to the discussion of the men.
Over time, the position and status of men in society has been declining, as women start to close the knowledge gap between the two genders. In Maslow's Hierachy of Needs, the need for psychological assurance and comfort comes together in the triangle with other basic needs such as shelter and food. Women are starting to cloud men's assurance and invade their comfort zone as they become as good as or even better at men in fields where they used to be the only capable ones. Women used to know close to nothing about cars, lightbulbs and pipes, which spawns the admiration of them for men who did. Now, women are able to know and do all these things. They are able to stand on their feet as equal to men. Women demand respect from men for their achievements, yet expect them to remain the chivalrous gentlemen stepped out of fairytales and romance novels. These two do not coincide: one cannot respect someone and treat her as a vulnerable being in need of protection at the same time.
This is why sluts and undesirable women are attractive to men. The former appeal to their ego, the latter their inbred instinct to aid the weaker sex. Sluts appeal to their ego because this desirable woman with the great body that other men lust for is mine. That is the statement most men would want to be able to make, to show off. Whereas undesirable food resource wasters appeal to the men's sense of responsibility because they exude a sort of helplessness that makes men want to look after their every need while making women want to slap them at their degenration into the kind of vulnerable subservience they had had to break out from. Which is not to say that women who are able to hold their own are ostracised by men. These women are commonly seen as great conversation partners, every men's best buddy, but not someone they can spend the rest of their life with because one mountain cannot hold two tigers.
In this way, food resource wasters are the ultimate choice for men when espousing as opposed to women who are able to stand up for themselves and not rely on men, or any other person for that matter. Of course, this is a sweeping statement. Overly dependent women are the bane of men. And to be fair, which I rarely am, food resource wasters probably do possess other qualities that make them the gem every man wishes to own. They may also be men's best buddies. They may be intelligent, just that they know how to act like a woman in front of men, something which most women in this century do not do, because they are proud of the abilities they have gained over the last century.
Being a self-proclaimed food resource optimiser who cannot stand food resource wasters and who isnt pretty enough to use that as a factor, no wonder im jealous of food resource wasters. all the same, being unable to be a food resource waster with men falling at my feet i shall just be every man's best buddy.
and why i can't be a pretty girl 1) disproportionate allocation of $$ most girls spend more on pretty things. i spend more on food 2) genetics self-explanatory 3) too much pride cannot act like foodresource wasters
